Other SmartphonesHi I keep getting an error message pop up on my
- service provider update has stopped
This is on a new s8 plus ,
I have tried factory reset already
I have found this to be a system service app which I have tried to force stop too,
Any ideas what is causing this ?
I'm on EE network

Other SmartphonesHi all,
Just to go over some stuff for the tech folks at our end:
How frequently are you getting this error message?
Are both your software and all of your apps up to date?
And does the message still appear after a day's normal use after clearing both the cache and data from the Service Provider app? Settings > Apps > Show System Apps > Service Provider Update > Storage > Clear Cache, and Clear Data.

Other SmartphonesWould also help if you could tell us what you was doing when it happens (cut down on options)

Other SmartphonesAll software and apps are up to date
Happens about 5 times a day
I have cleared cache and data from the app as you advised but still happens
It is guaranteed to happen when switching from 4g to Wi-Fi every time
Happens randomly when doing any function on phone including browsing and sat nav Google maps

Other SmartphonesOkay a couple of things to try here, but 1st have you got download booster activated? (Settings>ConnectionsMore connection srrings).
Also do you have developer options open?
or you could Force quit DQA app (go to Settings > Apps and tap the overflow menu (three dots at the top right), tap ‘Show system apps’ and locate DQA. Tap it and ‘Force stop’)

Other SmartphonesOkay Force quit DQA app (go to Settings > Apps and tap the overflow menu (three dots at the top right), tap ‘Show system apps’ and locate DQA. Tap it and ‘Force stop’) if this works for you then it is that you have some how missed a samsung update to sort this issue it was issued a few weeks ago.
