I keep getting this message constantly especially when I connect to Wi-Fi, I keep on having to close the message by clicking on the close app. I've already contacted three and got a SIM swap but it's still there. I've tried o2 SIM on the s8 and it still comes up with the message of service provider update has stopped. I bought the phone on 7 May and already getting this constant problem maybe every 20 30 mins please help

Hi @Parm,

Try a cache clear see if it helps (see bellow on how to)

How to Clean App Cache on Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+

  1. Open the app drawer
  2. Look for ‘Settings‘ and tap on it.
  3. Then Tap on Apps->App Manager
  4. Now, select the app you want to clear off the cache.
  5. Now tap on ‘Storage‘.
  6. And then tap on ‘CLEAR DATA‘ to clear its cache memory.

If you would like to perform this task for all installed applications, this can be done easily. Follow the below steps:

  1. From home, tap on ‘Apps‘.
  2. Tap on ‘Storage‘.
  3. Select the ‘Cached Data‘ and confirm it to clear entire cache on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.

let me know if it helps :smiling-face:

Hi yes I have tried everything from new SIM card, wipe cache and factory reset and it still comes back,

What network are you on?

Did you turn on file encryption?

Mine only seemed to start since I turned on knox and deactivated it

I've been getting the same message at least 6 - 8 times a day
Took mine in to the Vodafone shop and 1 of the assistants had a look as he had the s8+
He was able to put developer option in my settings and said to try and open up running services when it happens again
It has happened again since several times but I cannot see anything different
Hopefully this might be useful to someone who knows what they're doing
