S8 Samsung download errors

Just activated a Samsung Galaxy S8 and I can't update Samsung Themes or Samsung Messages.

 

Samsung Themes - as soon as I open the theme page, it brings up a update option. I click it... and it loads and loads and never actually does anything.

 

Samsung Messages - Error Installation failed. Try later.(com.samsung.android.messaging : -200)

 

Any ideas or solutions??

Hi @CGBGIS

 

Do you have a good data connection, either WiFi or mobile data? Because this message can appear if you don't have data.

Yes, everything is connected and I tried both with and without wifi... using only network. All options failed.

Since the phone is new @CGBGIS I'd take it into Samsung and have them take a look at the phone because those are basic updates and you shouldn't have any issues updating them, see here how to contact Samsung UK.
