Not sure if you mean this.

If you press that little dot I've circled in Red twice then it'll hide the navigation bar and will only show when you swipe up.

If you want it back all the time then swipe up and double tap the dot again. IMG_20171121_165937.jpg

Hi BB

This is my third attempt to send this back to you, who said tech was easy

Thanks for the speedy response,  I think I could have explained it a bit better.
On the nav bar of my HTC I had 4 options recent, home, off and return
All I had to do was double tap my black closed screen and it would wake up and instead of pressing the close button on the side of the phone I could press the off button on the nav bar,I know you can download an app which is on you home page screen but just wandered if Samsung had an off button option on the nav bar.
I have found out that I can hard press the home button  to wake the s8 phone up but have to press side button to close.
I know it might sound petty but after 6 years of HTC it's something you get use to

Yeah tech is great when it works as it should ! :winking-face:

I see what your saying.

Ive looked at my s8 Settings and preferences and as far as I can see there is no such Off option on the Navigation Bar.

You could send feedback to Samsung via the feedback route.
