S8 LED Charging and notification stopped working after update

I've had a few updates recently and since these have been installed I've noticed the RED LED isnt showing when the phone is getting charged and no GREEN LED when fully charged.

Also no LEDs are getting shown when I'm getting any notifications.

I've dialled the *#0*# and all 3 RED GREEN and BLUE are working fine.

I've set the LED notifications to on.

I've been into individual Apps and checked and set the LED options in there to on.

I've hunted the web for any recent info regarding it.

And came up blank on all the above.

Any Help will be much appreciated.

Phil

If this was my situation I would first try a soft reboot by turning the phone off and on and if that failed then back up and Factory Reset.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra 256Gb in Phantom Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

going from a soft boot to a factory data reset is too big of a jump as issues can be resolved without the need for a FDR (Factory data reset) your best option is to first reset the app preferences of the device in the settings menu under apps or applications if this does not do anything then boot the device into safe mode by turning the device off wait for 10 seconds and then press the power button for 3 seconds and let go at which point immediately hold down the volume down button until the home screen appears at which point it will say safe mode on the bottom right, alternatively you can press the power button till the power options appear at which point place your finger on power off and it should change to safe mode. Safe mode disables all 3rd party apps and will allow you to see if its a 3rd party app causing this issue. If it is a 3rd party app then it is just the matter of deleting apps and seeing which one resolves the issue and if it still does not work then try to wipe the cache partition of the device in the recovery menu. Finally failing all of this i would try a back up and FDR reason being is if its an app causing this or something on the device then it could be ported over during the back up which would mean that the issue would still be there.

I honestly thought I'd restarted the phone already. Thats cured it.

Must have just been the retarts with the Update.

Thanks all
