Other SmartphonesHi folks,
Is there such a feature in Samsung's devices where you can enable security when powering off your phone?
I remember I used to have such feature enable in my S7, everytime I want to power off my S7, my phone will prompt me for the password which is the pattern lock that I have chosen.
I couldn't find it on my S8.

Other SmartphonesLim, how do you set this up on an S7. I have two S7, one has to enter password to shutdown and the other doesnāt. I want them both to have password.
Firmware is the same on both phones and settings look like they are the same so I canāt work out why one does it and the other doesnāt.

Other SmartphonesI thought I had the same problem. But after a lot of research I discovered that the power off protection only works when the screen is locked. When the screen is on power off does not require password.
Do hope that was helpful.

Other SmartphonesThat isn't really secure enough. I tried to lock my screen and turn ut off it works. But when i tried to pick the restart option it seems to turned off. then while holding the power button its totally shutdown. I guess samsung must rework on that also to make it really secured. Thieves might had a chance to perform hard reset on that.
