S8 email disappeared

Please help!!! My slightly older emails have disappeared and i desperately need to be able to access them.... i don't know how or why this has happened but need this resolving asap???

Can you log into your email server via a Computer , laptop or tablet and check your folders this way ?

On my own s8 I find that my older emails sometimes do not load up into my sub folders too which I think is a bug with imap email type accounts.

I haven't had chance to get onto a computer due to work. But i really need to be able to access these emails on my phone.

Totally appreciate that. 

I'm the same but refreshing the folders on the phone sometimes has a limited result. 

If your using the stock Samsung email App then you could try an alternative email app from the PlayStore ?
