All of a sudden the camera app on my s8 keeps closing. Lets me press one button, freezes then closes. Also, can't delete anything from gallery. Phone is less that 2 months old! I have cleared cache and data but this made no difference. I see on the internet others have had this problem. Any suggestions, anyone know if Samsung will fix?

Just in case anyone reads this in the future as they have the same problem it was resolved with a factory reset. The phone support were great and took me through it. A bit of a pain but way better than being without my phone. 🙂

Ensure everything is up to date please in regards to tbe camera app, the Gallery and your firmware.
Try a soft reboot by turning the device Off and On.
The phone has a 24 month manufacturing warranty so as long as it has no obvious signs of damage from a drop and the water sensors haven't been tripped then a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre location can run a diagnostic on the phone. If you do not have one close then use Samsung's phone or Live Chat to arrange collection.

Thank you. Everything is up to date and sadly off and on again makes no difference. I also tried clearing cache and data. I've emailed Samsung to start the ball rolling on getting it fixed but I'm so disappointed the phone has gone wrong so soon.
