S8 battery drain and slow after august update

Since the august android update on my stock Samsung S8 the phone has gone so slow and the battery drain is sooo bad. Seen alot of people have same problem online. Will this get sorted in the next update? If i have to upgrade my phone cos of this it sure wont be a samsung after the same problem like this with my S3's last update and now the S8.

Sometimes if a phone isn't performing as expected after an update then if a soft reboot by turning the phone off and on does not help and all your apps have had time to fully optimise then banking up and factory resetting can be a very final resort @Gunner786 

Try putting the phone in Safe Mode which disables the downloaded apps and leaves the stock ones working and then see if things improve.

Done that but its not just mine. Its every S8 i am on various forums its a dodgy update mate
