Hi I know no one can answer this 100% but I will give it a go.

At the moment I have s7 edge running nougat 7.0 network branded device.Although I have unlocked it via code from network.

Is it likely to get any more software updates in the future.

I was at the tail end of getting my device (only had it 3 months)

Although I love this s7 edge and the improvement nougat made.

It would be nice if it got maybe the next major update (OREO😉)

If there is one

I remember going from lollipop to marshmallow and for me it was like getting a new device.

From what I have read which is unofficial the s7 edge will continue to receive Nougat updates and should receive the new o update.

When that will happen is ultimately up to your network signing it off and giving Samsung permission to push it out.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra 512Gb in Phantom Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Try.....

Clear System Cache.

To boot the Galaxy S7 into recovery, start by turning the device completely off. Once it's off, press and hold the Bixby and volume up buttons, then press the power button. Let go of the power once the phone turns on, while still keeping the Bixby and volume up buttons pressed. Let go of the rest of the buttons when you see the blue screen with the Android logo.

If no help then Back Up and Factory Reset.

If no help then search out your most local Samsung Service Location.

Night clock is not gone, it is in AOD settings, LOL! Do you read the internet? It was said days ago that is where they put it. Man, people. I am more worried about getting the update, which I will never receive, and people are complaining about features I never use. This probably the main reason the unlocked s7 variants are never getting the major update. The more complaints, the longer I and others with unlocked devices have to wait. This is pathetic, more than a feature, which can be fixed with a patch. So sick of waiting. Months and months after promised rollout.
