My S7 Edge won’t switch on or charge. It’s completely dead. I’ve tried resets and all the usual stuff but I get nothing, no lights and the screen stays dead. Anyone any ideas? Since it won’t turn on it won’t connect to the pc either so options to downgrade isn’t possible. Any ideas anyone?

Other SmartphonesGot phone back this morning all fixed under warranty, had iPhone as a stand in and it was beginning to drive me mad. Phone is working perfectly and didn’t cost a single cent... Great customer service

Other SmartphonesHave you tried different charging cables and bricks @Beirnz ?
Look in the phones charging port with a torch to see if there's a build up of lint.
In regards to resets have you tried a Hard Reset ? This would however delete your saved info.
If all else has failed and the phone shows no signs of a drop and the water sensors have not been tripped I would suggest to use a Samsung Service Centre or Samsung Experience Store will be able to help you further with this situation.

Other SmartphonesCharging port is fine and no water damage either. Can’t preform a hard reset because the phone is totally unresponsive, if I do a button press I get zero, no lights, no screen...... nothing
