I did own a Samsung Galaxy s7 edge and it developed a p.o. k line which was a result of the connection issue between the motherboard and display.

It's possible this is happening with yours.

I can only suggest to re contact your Samsung Service Centre under the 24 Month Manufacturing Warranty.

I'm in the UK and we have consumer laws. You'd need to check your own countries.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra 512Gb in Phantom Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Hey @Emmaxoxo53

Let's also try starting your phone up in Safe Mode – this will disable all third party applications temporarily, to see if they are the root cause of the issues you're having.

To do this:

  • Turn off your phone then hold down the Power button to turn on your phone as usual.
  • Then once the Samsung logo appears press and hold the volume Down button until the home screen appears.
  • Safe Mode will now display in the Left hand corner.

Does the flickering still happen?

Just checking before you visited a Support Centre!

As @BandOfBrothers advised you would need to contact Samsung directly to arrange another repair, you can either pop in to a store or contact Support directly.

My flickering stops in safe mode.  Is there a way to tell the date apps were installed?  My kid has downloaded some new apps recently and so have I.  I have no idea where to start.
