S7 edge find out if locked to network ?

Hi all , I have an s7 edge bought from Vodafone in the u.k , is there any way to find out if it's locked to Vodafone or unlocked without trying another sim , thanks , Dave

@Edgie70: If it was purchased from a network with an accompanying SIM and you have already inserted that SIM then it will be locked to that network. Give Vodafone a call and request a PUK code if you want to switch networks, then when you insert your new SIM you can enter the code and remove the network lock.

Hi , thanks for your reply , I got it from Vodafone and now my contract is nearly finished I want to put a sim card in it off EE which is cheaper . If I try my wife's SIM in my phone I presume that will tell me if it's locked to Vodafone or not , she's on 3 network

That's correct @Edgie70. If your phone accepts your wife's SIM, then it means the phone is not locked to Vodafone.
