Other SmartphonesI am getting a frequent black screen (sometimes green) with volume, notification light etc working but otherwise unresponsive. It seems to happen if I put in briefcase/pocket.
Solution to take the battery out and leave 15 minutes.
Ran proximity sensor test. The sensor is activated by waving hand but will not turn off when the hand moved away.
Can be stopped only by lightly pressing area around the sensor, however, screen flashes and sometimes multiple screens/continuous scrolling then black screen!
Is it possible to disable proximity sensor? If not what do I do?

Other SmartphonesMy advice is to have a diagnostic run on the device via a Samsung Service Location @IRJ
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra 256Gb in Phantom Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
