"Messages" app ghost appearing

I can't get this to stop, no matter what I do.

Messages And clear cache And data and see if that helps fix the issue

I have this same problem too..the messages app keeps reopening in the background. Clearing the cache made no difference nor did rebooting. Think its a update glitch

@Members_A8VxwuU @zara01: Please can you try heading to Settings > Apps > Messages > Appear On Top, and set this to 'Off'. Let me know if this helps.

@zara01 @Members_A8VxwuU ,If the problem is persistent, try to remove the following permission from the app. Hold down the app icon, small iboton, search for Apear on top and deactivate it. This will make the Messages app unable to overlay screens, it should not harm the correct operation.
