Photos randomly disappeared from gallery

my photos of all October including screenshots, camera everything just randomly disappeared from my Samsung m31 on 19/10/2021
I've tried everything they don't seem to be anywhere 
pls help

Images or the recycle bin

Ever since the last update this phone has been doing some strange things it's been opening apps taking me to web pages I don't want to be on or ask for
