Phone Screens

I've just registered my phone and it gives me the specs of my phone and what do I find  this:

 And I thought it was 5.8inch and 1080

The s8 is 5.8 and a person can change screen resolution within the settings.

By default it's set to FHD+ = 2220 x 1080.

Where has the specs you screen shot come from ?

From this app from Samsung for reg the phone so its Samsung info

Just checked myself. 

This is mine. 

Mine says 1080

However the screen size is reported the same as yours. It maybe due to the curved screen on the infinity display. Look yourself by measuring the screen diagonally.
