Notification sounds!

Evening guys I can't remember how to sort my notifications sounds while gaming.Eg..I used to be able to get message notifications coming through on screen while I was playing my Cookie Jam game but since update few days ago there not showing up on screen or sounding while gaming.Only seeing them once I stop playing.I sorted it last time but I've totally forgot now.Wud appreciate any help guys/gals.Thankyou.😘🤞🏼

Drag down notification area.
Access the "settings" icon.
Click "Notifications"
On my tablet:
Current areas to edit are
"Do not disturb" and "Advance settings".
Click "Do not disturb"
From the area entitled "Exceptions", Click on "Apps"
Click "+ Add apps"
Click the app you wish to ignore 'Do not disturb'.
Hopefully that should help.

Yes I am facing this notification sound issue some times the notification sound does not appear even if the phone is not on silent mode. please   me about it.
