is the uk version of note 8. the same as asian version. if  not why not. samsung stop givin us the ***** phones

There are two variants of the Samsung Note 8 @yte78

Chipset - Exynos 8895 Octa - EMEA - U.K. 

CPU - Octa-core (4x2.3 GHz & 4x1.7 GHz) - EMEA

Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 - USA & China.

Octa-core (4x2.35 GHz Kryo & 4x1.9 GHz Kryo) - USA & China

If a person wants the Qualcomm version then they can import it. 

Other than the CPU / Cpu most of the specs are the same. 

I'm curious to learn why you think one is better over the other variant ?

hi if there is no difference in the 2 chips why give different chips in the 2 hand sets just give every1 the same. and there are differences as i ad a uk note 4 and a note 4 for asia. and in test the asian 1 was way better. just give people the same around world with same offers. uk dont have any offers at all. stop ripping us off.

if there inst any diff give everyone the same chip. and you cant get uk warrenty if phone from another country.

The chipset is probably more just to where they are supplied from for the phones. 

If the phone is imported from a eu country then the manufacturing warranty remains valid.

as saying all eu note 8 the same. i want have asian version. as they rated better. just samsung needs give every country in world the same inside and outside phone. and same offers. example ironman edition phones batman edition samsung phones. you see my point here. dont get me wrong i love the note phones allways have. but to spend over 800 on a phone is terrible unless you get offers to go with it.

A person could always get a Note 8 on contract if they want a 2 year contract and can pass a credit check so they are not having to.pay out full price in one go. 

I personally also buy mine sim free from Samsung as I prefer unbranded handsets.

When the Samsung s7 edge pap released everyone was saying the the snap Qualcomm chip (I know I've sent spelt it wrong)but the ones on the bench tests it out performed it in keeping multiple apps another other processes open it seems the both have merits in different applications.
