No service being displayed on S8+

Hi, I have the Samsung Galaxy S8+ Chinese version (SM-G9550) and for a very long time now, there has been no network service on my device, it detects SIM but it doesn't bring up service, I need help regarding this.

Attached is a picture of what I just said.

have you tried the sim in sim card slot 2 just out of curiosity?

Yes, I did, I also had both SIMs in, still the same issue persists

man I wish I was there to help. its starting to bug me. don't do this yet... possibly some the others may have a suggestion but all I can think of is backing up all your data then doing a hard reset (with high battery) then seeing if the phone picks up the sim. don't know if Pugs1957 agrees, I've seen them give sound advice in this forum before.

I appreciate your help a lot, just like I said in my initial post, I have had this problem for months and in that time, I have tried the option above as well to no avail, that's why I decided to come here

there must be some sort of antenna issue inside the device. the sim is being picked up so sim reader is fine. this might be more of a hardware issue rather than a software... if so it needs a good technician to check it out but all this is guessing. I wish u luck in getting it sorted.

Thanks, I really appreciate, Samsung service outlet is far from my location, but I'll get it there once I'm chanced
