So I had this phone for a little over a month, when it suddenly stopped connecting to my home Wi-Fi. I have been unable to get it reconnect, despite my phone being able to connect and use other router's Wi-Fi without issue. There are also many other devices in my house connected to my router without issue. It is as if exclusively my phone and router are incompatible or something. I have a technicolor router and a Samsung J6. I would love some help, as I am fed up with having to use all my data up whilst at home on my phone. Many thanks.

As your phone connects to other wifi options this says to me the phone has no technical issues but instead as you say isn't communicating with your router as it should.
Perhaps try these in order.
1. Forget the network in the phones settings and reset it back up.
2. Split the frequencies in the router to 2.4gzh and 5Ghz as the phone may prefer one over the other.
3. Go into Settings - Apps - If necessary press the 3 little dots in the top Rh Corner of the screen and choose to show system apps - Wifi - Storage - Clear Cache and Data.
4. Seek a diagnostic test from a Samsung Service Centre.

Thankyou for the response, but I think the issue is different to previously thought. It seems that the reason my phone won't connect is because of 2 issues. Either:
1. My router is not outputting the 2.4ghz band despite saying it is. I know this because on all the other devices connected to my router, none of them can see the seperate SSID for the 2.4ghz band opposed to the 5ghz.
2. As a result of this, it may be that the Samsung J6 does not support 5ghz bands and therefore I cannot connect at all.
Any thoughts?

I was using my phone when suddenly the phone disconnected from my house wifi. Whenever I go into settings trying to connect again the phone will connect for about 15 seconds and disconnect again with a message saying "internet not available." I know this is not a problem with the wifi router as I can connect with any other device. I have tried forgetting the network and connecting again and it still does not work. I would love some help, as I am fed up with having to use all my data up whilst at home on my phone. The phone is a Samsung J6.

Im also experience that today..i cant connect to my wifi.im connecting only for 10 seconds and after that disconnected..my wifes phone is connecting to wifi but my samsung j6 dont connect. How can we fixed this problem.

I have had this phone over 3years now. Recently my phone's connects to wifi after like 10 to 15 sec pop up stating no internet connected switch to mobile data?
I have split the wifi by 2 and 5hz, wifi gets connected all good but no internet .
I have tried resetting the network connection under settings.
I'm waiting for a software update
Issue persists, any recommendation.
