Hi @tibdale

Perhaps try going into...

Contacts App > Hit your Profile which should be at the Top > Touch Edit > Key in your Mobile Number.

Current Phone ~

Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G SM-N9860_256Gb SnapDragon 865+

Samsung One Ui 2.5/ Android 10.

I'm having an issue with my Samsung tablet. When I click on contacts, MY INFO is displayed with the wrong number (unknown to me). When I click on edit contact, it does not allow me to edit the phone number as an option. ???

My phone number was already entered, in fact, it used to show it before on About Device, I only noticed today that it said Unknown.

I went further and ticked the default phone number and email address for the device as well, now they have a tick next to them.

But in Device it still shows unknown.

No, sorry, no solution, nobody replied.
I really don't understand this forum, I know it's Samsung Community, for users to help themselves, but you would've thought that Samsung would have someone checking the forums for unsolved problems so they can help their customers!

Hi @MartaRamirez and @Jackteo. Might be worth having a read through this thread on a similar topic for some stuff that people have successfully tried.

Iam using Galaxy J7 2016. I faced the the same issue and my mobile network team confirmed it's not a network issue ... some settings to be updated in my mobile.

Below is the location where we need to update

Call settings, select the sim and select show number.
