My Galaxy S8 wont record videos longer than 1 minute.

Whenever I try to record something, whenever I pause the video to set something up. It keeps on ending the video I've been recording without pressing the stop button. Which I really am getting annoyed about. If anyone can help figure this out. It would be a great pleasure.

Hope you're well! Are you using the default app to record your videos or are you using an app? Is the software up to date on your phone? Have a go at a Soft Reset, to do this hold the Power button and the Volume-down button for a few seconds until your phone restarts. Let us know how you get on.

Hi I'm having the same problem. I've done a soft reset which hasn't solved the issue.  Any further suggestions?

The maximum recording time may reduce when you record video at high resolution. With this in mind please open the Camera app > Tap the cog symbol > Rear Camera > Video Size and select a lower resolution. Please be aware that it is not possible to pause while you are recording video.
