Music player disappears from lock screen when paused

Hi,

I am using VLC player. I play music, I pause the music, I go back to the lock screen and it is not there. I must open the phone and hit play from the VLC app.

How can I make it so that the player will remain in my lock screen after I pause and come back to it later.

Ok. So, i've been researching this for you.
After you have pressed " ⏸ " , whenever you want to resume ⏯ , just double tap the clock on the ALWAYS ON DISPLAY and swipe right once ( or several times ...depends on how many items you have assigned on AOD ) and you should be able to resume play

Dude, THANK YOU for this post! I know this is almost a year old but I've been trying everything since installing android 11 to get my paused media player to show on the lock screen like it always did on Android 10. This is a good work around but somebody has to get their ***** together and stop changing things that are not broken.
