I've had several Samsung each required my renew them for the same issue.

The charging port stop charging.  Due to the cord bending repeatedly and breaking the inside wiring. On addition port losses.

Should you place the charging port on the TOP of the phone this would eliminate the constant wiggle of the power cord while we use it, and constant affect to the wiggle of the port which loosens it up.

I would love to you make it happen.

Thanks,

I can understand your viewpoint on this @DannisB1

Personally my preference is to have the ports on the bottom as I like the clean look of the top of the phone and the ports maybe better protected from dust and moisture with them being at the bottom.

On a side note > My personal preference is to also use wireless charging.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Agree.. I've had a few Samsung phones, but they have a definite design fault in the charging cord.

Because it hangs on a L shape, when charging whilst using the phone, it weakens the structure and eventual breakage at the neck.

I've had to buy  yet another cable for charging..

Yes, I know wireless charging.. Yahdiyah.. People stop use cables/cords to charge.
