Other SmartphonesHi,
Really odd issue which I think has happened after the latest software update. Stock Mail App using exchange active sync, does not display sent items properly or drafts for example. You can see on the item count that items are present in the folder but actual mail items do not show.
On other devices and outlook pc all looks fine.
Have tried removing account from mail and setting up again. Have tried fully resetting the phone back to factory but not joy.
Have now had another user reporting the same issues on another S7.
Has anyone come across this or is it a bug?
Thanks.

Other SmartphonesAh ok, understood thanks, that explains the absence of one. Bizarrely the message I've just sent to b2b.sec@samsung from the PC has appeared in my stock email app sent folder. Weird. I thought it might be related to sticking the importance to "high", so I tried sending my self a "high"importance message, no joy.

Other SmartphonesAt least it's somehow "comforting" to know one isn't the only one with a problem of this type, one can become crazy with something like this trying to solve it. Why can't they have a way to inform the users?... I don't mind waiting for a fix... the worst part is not knowing the reason and thinking it's your device's problem. One has to keep on moving, so the way I see it, the solution, at least for now, is to use another app. As I said, personally I don't like the Outlook app because of the way one can't add/edit contacts, although one can only use it for the email. How can Microsoft be so mean with this issue?... and although I read they will add this function sometime "soon" I undestand it will only sync one way... adding/editting on Microsoft app will sync with the stock app but not the other way round. Again so MEAN... After some research I decided to start using another free app called Nine, looks good and very complete, for now I will stick to it and if I have no issues... Goodbye Outlook and Samsung. Sorry for diverting a bit from the main subject

Other SmartphonesAlso have the same issue in my company. Since there is no answer from Samsung so far we will just use another application until this is solved.

Other SmartphonesI still have had no response from my support mail logged online. Still no response from multiple emails to the b2b email address either. Web chat just say keep waiting and don't give any support.
I have to say considering the number of people reporting this the response from Samsung is quite poor.
Those of you with existing cases open, have you heard anything further?
Regards,
Richard

Other SmartphonesI have had a reply for my notification issue... not sure if this update will fix yours
Dear Customer,
We found root cause of this issue from log. We found sync is ok. but there was no notification.
Because some message have 0 timestamp. so we recognized it is old mail and then no notified it.
Additionally If there is no message in list. There will be no notification even if new mail is arrived.
2017-08-08 18:39:01:434 12469 22797 [tPopSyncCommandsQueue1] PopSync| oldestTimeStamp =1502213825000 |
Maybe your account have some message which have 0 timestamp message(like 1970 year) or No message in list.
This issue is only reproduced when using pop account. so if possible, you can configure account as Imap protocol. Notification will be work properly.
But we can not send email apk because internal policy. we will upload email apk to play store in next release.
Thank you for helping to solve this issue.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Samsung Email Team

Other SmartphonesDon't want to sound too orwellian, but considering how common and long lasting this issue has been already (I'm sure this affects thousands.. or more... users with an S7), Samsung will solve it when they please... Welcome to the digital dictatorship.
