Lost photos S8

Hi, I was deleting some old files when my phone went crazy and crashed, when it came back to life a large chunk of my photos had gone (I assume deleted), is there anyway I can get these back. They was not backed up, its quite heartbreaking 😢

@Tracy81: If you're on Android 9.0 or higher then please open the Gallery app > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Recycle Bin. If your images are here, press and hold on an image, tap 'All' in the top left to select all your images and hit 'Restore'. You might also want to try Google Photos to see if there's an archive of your images saved here: Apps > Google (Folder) > Photos. Let me know how you get on.
