Lost all memos after back up/restore of Samsung Galaxy A3

Hei there,

I backed up everything as suggested by Samsung and Google, then factory reset the phone and restored everything. I missed all my 50ish memos.....any idea of how i could get them back if they are stored somewhere in the cloud?

Hi @ZenArcade. Did you log out of you Google and Samsung accounts prior to the Factory Reset and did you log back in once it was done?

Hi @CarlH  thanks for the quick answer. No i did not unfortunately, i did not think about it really. I backed up everything and then did an hard reset.

Unfortunately, it sounds like you have removed them from the Samsung Cloud too, @ZenArcade. All the data on Samsung Cloud is encrypted and stores the files that are on your phone at that time. Because if this, it's advised that logging out of your Samsung account is done before the Factory Reset.

Should not i have lost also other dta if this was the case? i have been able to restore other data (messages, contacts and so on) via Samsung Cloud, but not memos
