Latest update has messed up an important app!

I'm so annoyed, did the latest update and it has seriously messed with an important app. My son is type 1 diabetic and uses a dexcom cgm to track his blood sugars which I can follow on my phone. The app will alarm with 2 long beeps for a high blood sugar alert, 3 short for a low blood sugar and 4 quick beeps for a dangerously low blood sugar level. I use these alerts 24 hours a day. Especially the low alerts at night as my son sleeps through hypos. This update has changed the different  alarms to my text message tone, I have reinstalled the app, gone through every setting on my phone but cannot find a solution. If the alerts do not work I am paying £2000 a year for nothing, please help!

I would suggest to contact the developer of the app via the app itself or Playstore / email to ask them to look at this issue and ask them to update their app @Jenny610  to improve compatibility.
