It's not a galaxy but my j320 6 doesn't show my sd card when inserted. What am I doing wrong?

Can you just confirm the full model code of your phone? 

Are you able to try the SD card in a different phone? Are you also able to try a different SD card in the phone? 

This will help determin where the issue lies. 

There can also sometimes be some dirt on the SD card so can you just give it a gentle clean to get rid of any grease or dirt that may be blocking the connection?

Hi ThomO,

the phone is a samsung j320 6 (2016) and i think i realise what is happening. I have not taken the battery out and re-inserted it. I didnt bother to do this because i can insert the sd card without having to. However it maybe that the phone has to be off and battery out then insert sd card then re-insert battery and restart for the system to identify the memory card. I am yet to try this. Also it may be the case that the system does not recognise the 2Gb card and i will need a sdhc 4Gb or above for the phone to see it? Not sure but will try both and see what happens. Thanks.
