Hi all , I still cant update my phone S8 plus to oreo 8.0 , i tried to update it manually and using smart switch App , however it still displays that my phone is up to date (7.0) , so does anyone have the same issue or have any solution?
Who supplied the phone to you @Mmh1 ?
I ask because if it was Samsung directly it will be unbranded and the update should be sent out which is driven by the country your in and the phones build and serial number.
If it was supplied by a network then it will be branded and your reliant on that network testing the firmware out first and then allowing Samsung to send it out.
Neither Samsung nor networks typically comment on firmware timeframes however.
