I don't understand what you mean.

samsung make phones.
google android is installed on these phones.
samsung mail or similar is then used.

I have had no problems with spam as I can use the 'block' function.

do you have a Hotmail or similar email address?? as its usually the provider that supplies the 3rd party mail.

No spam protection works 100%.If Samsung installed one there would be posts saying "Boohoo, I'll never buy Samsung again because I got spam, so now I'vegot bloatware becauseI'm using xxx app." As you can see as far as any manufacturer is concerned they leave it to you, the user to decide what product to use. Same goes for any app really.

no one else has this "spam issue" I've been with Samsung for 8 years. never once had spam
