Hello, I have an European Samsung S8, used with Italian and Swiss SIMs. I will move to the US soon, and the cell phone apparently has a countrly lock. How can I remove that to utilize it with an American SIM card?

Thanks!

To remove a Region Lock its advised to make at least 10 minutes of calls while in the country of origin using a local sim card to a local number @enricochinello1

Also the Samsung Customer services support department for the country of origin maybe able to remove the region lock remotely.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
