Other SmartphonesI have an unlocked Samsung S7 which has T-Mobile screens displayed on startup/reboot and shutdown. Updates are also badged as T-Mobile. Also, I am unable to remove T-Mobile apps from the phone. Can anyone assist or advise how I might remove the screens and apps?

Other SmartphonesI assume it was originally supplied by your network hence the splash screens and bloatware.
Even tho you've unlocked it to all networks those would still remain.
Some can be uninstalled and some can be dealt with by package tools from Google Play Store. Be careful on how you use those tho as disabling something wrong can affect the phones stability.
To completely remove it all the option is to install a custom Rom onto a phone but be aware that can come with side effects too. A site called xdadevelopers holds info and tutorials which a person uses at their own discretion.

Other SmartphonesFollowing research, I have found that phones that were originally from the big USA providers (T-Mobile, ATAT, Verizon) have locked bootloaders so the provider software cannot be changed.

Other SmartphonesYea that worked like a charm... except the power down splash, which its only a matter of time before I find that sucker. However, the boot splash and sound is gone. yippee...
