Other Smartphoneshi,
turns out my smartphone is not smart enough to turn off at night and turn on in the morning by itself 😞 That's a bummer because my old phone was able to, and this feature is really important to me.
What I do now is activating the "save energy" mode and enable airplane mode every night. That way the alarm is still working and GSM / Internet is turned off over night. In the morning I have to do the reverse.
Is there a way to automate the process? I want to turn off GSM / internet at a given time and turn on at a given time.
any ideas?
thanks

Other SmartphonesHi @Backspace
As far as I'm aware that's not a facility available in the phones settings out of the box.
There might be an app or 3rd party launcher that offers more functions.
I personally turn my phone Off overnight as I do not need the alarms etc.
A person could turn Off Mobile Data in the phones settings but again this would have to be actioned manually.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra 256Gb in Phantom Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Other Smartphoneshello BandOfBrothers,
I was unable to find any launcher. It seems like applications can not turn a phone on once it is switched off. This feature is integrated into android but not on my phone. This might not even be supported by hardware.

Other SmartphonesI find it a very bad decision from Samsung not to allow this feature. As it is not healthy sleeping with the phone on, and there not way to autoswitch off without root. I can't believe this
