Help understanding

Hi, I have a samsung galaxy s8 and I'm interested to know if I can save picture folders (ones I have created myself in my gallery) onto a memory card as they are? And then put that memory card into a new phone and upload them to the gallery on the new phone as I want access to them in the same way that I do now 🤷‍♀️

That should work fine.
Copy or move the picture folders to Micro SD card, once in the new phone you should be access all files from the card directly or copy them new phone.
