My mic isn't working on my headphones when I try to use then,iv tried many others but to no avail.
Are there any setting I could try?
Must say that samsung make terrible phones ,iv had nothing but problems woth several handsets

Which phone are you using? Any other issues with the sound on it? And is all of the software up to date?

Do the Headphone Microphones work if you use them with other devices?
Try putting your phone in Safe Mode and testing the 'Voice Recorder by recording with the Headphone Microphone.
Does it work in this core application?
