Hello - I own a Samsung Galaxy S5 and recently it froze while on the Instagram app. I tried to turn it off and restart it (which usually works) - and it then proceeded to start up as if I have just received the phone (select language, create Samsung account, who does this phone belong to etc)
After taking about two hours to successfully start up (poor loading screen times, repeated questions), it finally opened, and my home screen was gone, apps have disappeared and I can't access photos ('Unfortunately, my files has stopped')
Despite this, I still get the notification informing me that I have low storage, which was a problem which I had before the reset.
After turning my phone off, when I turned it on the next day it made me sign in again, and it seemed to have forgotten that I set it up again the day before.
Cannot sign into any google apps, as loading can take up to an hour and not get anywhere.
Google photos seems to only have preserved the photos on my SD card, and if there are photos from my device, I cannot tell as I get frequent pop-ups informing me that apps have crashed, which closes apps
Does anyone know why my phone completely reset, and if there is a way to access/recover my photos?
