I use the above alot and have noticed that the silky smooth scrolling soon turns juddery. A quick maintenance and all is back to normal.

However this is not the case i have to repeat this many times throughout a session of the For You section and upto 12 subjects i like. 

Surely on a S8 this should not happen ?

Ive seen that its only 1% difference 99% to 100% that makes the difference in performance.

Anybody else seen this or know why?

I haven't come across this one personally - but not sure if other S8 owners like @BandOfBrothers or @Leon24xxx use the app or have experienced the same issues you have with it.

Apart from the maintenance, and noticing the effect of the battery on performance, any other troubleshooting steps have you've tried (e.g. checking that app's up to date)? And has the juddering just recently started or has it always been that way?

Thanks Ant. I only saw it on S8. sometimes when i access a news story newwstand misbehaves in such that the article screen bounces and is difficult to scroll down as bounces back up.

I keep absolutely everything as upto date as is possible except firmware and security patches i dont know these maybe not so upto date?  I don't believe im the only person to have noticed this.

I tried reply from my email account and the login screen appeared yet once i clicked on members and found this subject i could reply. Can this be changed so that we can just what ever from where ever we got into Members?
