Good lock app not available on the Galaxy M51

I just got the Galaxy M51 as a back up phone only to realise that you can't install Good lock app and secure folder. For that reason I'm planning to return it even though I'm enjoying it. 

I read somewhere that a future update might bring both to this device, is it true?

I honestly don't understand why it's not available om this device and Samsung is crippling it like this.

Thing is depending on a future update rumour may not yield fruit @AlexyN9 

I've no idea why Samsung would not provide Goodlock for your phone model unless they deem it wouldn't be able to run it etc.

It's the same as Samsung don't allow Goodlock in some regions.

Is there another option you could look at that brings to the table the same way Goodlock does.

Nova Prime or an app etc ?

I don't see why it wouldn't run it. The phone comes with android 10 and ONEUI 2.1 with Snapdragon 730G.
I saw a video talking about Nice Lock as an alternative but you have to pay for it. It's a shame Samsung is still soooooo inconsistent as to the features it provides across the board.
