So...My S7 sim tray got hooked on summit inside phone. It would come out a little way, but something was stopping it coming fully out. It had a sim card in it also. I got impatient and wiggled & pulled, then I snapped. The sim card came out but part of the tray is still stuck. What's the best way to remove broken tray? I've tried using a women's hair clip thingy! But I don't wanna ,break any contacts. Do I have to remove phone case? Or would that "Glue & card " trick work?
Alot of threads say remove phone case? But I can't be arsed heating it up.
You ain't gonna like my reply maybe but I'm thinking that's just a hint from the higher powers of the world for you to do a upgrade lol... New phone time.
Might have to be a YouTube tutorial job mate... personally, I'd try charm a decent repair shop to have a go at a cheap price as I would have no time, skill or patience for it.
Same thing happened to me lol, I sold the phone on ebay and put in the description that the sim tray snapped inside and it sold for £110 so I just bought another S7 and my problem was solved. This was back in February 2020 so I don't know if it will sell for that much £ anymore.
