I received a message asking me to perform a software update which I did and now my phone is stuck in installing goes to 100% reboots my phone and starts again?? How can i reset my phone? Surely if this is a software update that I have performed having been sent a message by Samsung I should have some recall with Samsung to repair my phone??????

Try hooking upto Smartswitch to see if this helps.

If not then you could try a hard reset but this would delete your unser information stored in the phone.

samsung-g935f-galaxy-s7-edge > Hard Reset.

You could also try > Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict.

And Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files. There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.

Ultimately a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre can help @BernMart

I wish you all the best.  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
