Hello, I have this problem with galaxy s6: I can’t connect via wi-fi direct with a television (philips 4400) and with a HP 3833 printer.
After some tries with other phones, I think the problem is with wifi 5ghz support.
I mean: the galaxy s6 conects to wifi direct with 5 ghz, and both the television and the printer support only 2.4 ghz.
If it try with a phone that doesn’t support 5 ghz, everything is ok
If it try with a phone that support 5 ghz, I can see the wifi direct network but when I send invitation, nothing happens.
Any ideas?
Is it possibile to force wi-fi direct on 2.4 ghz?
