Galaxy S5 = i turned it off then it turn on by itself + phone can't charge....PLEASE HELP.....!

hi,

recently when i turn off my Galaxy S5 - it will power off but then power back on by itself.......also it won't charge the battery and won't be recognized by my PC.........i took out the battery for a day then put it back in and it worked fine for about a week......but today, the same problem happened again.........could this be a battery issue ?

lastly, how do i get the messages in ''Memo'' off the phone (doesn't appear in ''My Files'') ? possible to transfer them somewhere ?

many thanks for the info...........i didn't do as you said and is able to charge again...........also the phone will connect to the PC on and off..........i suspect it's more of a firmware or OS problem......

You could let a Samsung Service Centre assess the phone and or send feedback via your Samsung Members app.
