Galaxy note 8

I'm looking for advice ,my note 8 is on android 9 and when i try to update it ,it says (your current software version isn't supposed. Visit a service centre) I checked online and it says the note 8 is compatible with android 10 so I dont know what the problem is .

@J45ONM7K: I've had a look into this and the Note 8 is not scheduled to receive the Android 10 update. For more information, please check the following link:

I wouldn't recommend updating to Android 10 via a third party site, as this may lead to compatibility issues with some apps and services, and also void your warranty.

Unfortunately it is as @AndrewL  advises.

As.far as Samsung is concerned its come to the end of its software update life.

It should however recieve Security updates.
