My phone seems to automatically change my wallpaper everyday. Above is today's wallpaper of choice.

No matter what I set my wallpaper to it seems to change itself a few hours later. There doesn't seem to be any setting for this at all.

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi @Buzzmond85

Im not sure if these will help

how-to/set-rotating-lock-screen-wallpapers-samsung-galaxy-devices-

Note-8-Wallpaper-Changing.

And some suggest it could be if a person is using another launcher instead of Touchwizz.

Nova Prime as one of the many available.

Thanks but none of that works.

Completely different settings menu. There's no wallpaper settings whatsoever. Only relating to updates for the galaxy wallpaper app.

It's the home screen too and not just the lock screen.

Ok.

Perhaps try Samsung Online Chat or their contact number.

I have the same problem... it started after installing the NASA daily wallpaper app... continues even though the app was removed and the phone factory reset.  When i find a solution i will let you know

Exact same issue on my Galaxy S8! I uninstalled the NASA Wallpaper app and it's still forcing itself on my screen every day!!!

So... I had the exact same problem...but no more!  I was running IFTTT and there is an applet on there that changes you wallpaper to the NASA pic of the day... so I deleted the applet and it's been fine since.

Hi, so this happens to my Note 9 as well.

at first I don't see it as an issue, bcoz it keep changing wallpaper, made my phone look a little more interesting.

but not for long, my gf demanded we should use the same wallpaper to show our relationship can't be seperated -,-.

oh well.... I not sure what I been doing but I just change to our pictures and show it to her she was happy as hell.... =.=''
but not for long the wallpaper changed itself without my concern, when we meet up she saw my wallpaper changed,

she was so pissed, and just scolded me cried and left :=.=:....

I try explain and started compare her note 9 with mine so I found this column which her's stated Never and mine stated Using Any Network. so I changed it to "NEVER" and so our relationship back to normal =D.

Here is how you can deactivated it
Setting--> Wallpapers and themes--> Menu Button "dots-11-433569.png" --> Show Recommended Content --> Change to <Using Wi-Fi Only> / < Never>

Shortcut
Main Screen--> Hold on empty area or use pinch gesture --> Select "Wallpaper" --> Menu Button "dots-11-433569.png" --> Show Recommended Content --> Change to <Using Wi-Fi Only> / < Never>

@bbbb0417: When 'NEVER'  might mean forever... :heavy-black-heart:

Glad you found a way to fix things - and thanks for sharing with us! :smiling-face::thumbs-up-sign-emoji-modifier-fitzpatrick-type:

On UK Note9's (and Note8's, S9's and S8's) there's an extra 'Settings' option between that 3 dot menu  and 'Show Recommended Content', so for us UK peeps it'd be:

Settings > Wallpapers and themes > Menu Button "dots-11-433569.png" > Settings > Show Recommended Content > change to 'Never'
