The internal storage  shows 15.3 of 16GB  used. Details: Images 375MB, Videos 17.05MB, Installation files 131MB, Other 15.12GB.  What is this "other".  I want to move as much as possible to the 64GB SD card installed which has only 1.28GB used so it would help if I knew what this "other" is and whether it can be moved or deleted.

Thanks Steven9761. If that is the case, does that mean that if I delete some apps, then the data files relating to those apps will also be deleted?

I HATE THIS MODEL SO MUCH. I'M IN EXACT SAME SITUATION.  CANT ACCESS ROOT DIR TO DELETE ALL THAT JUNK FILES OR UNINSTALL BLOATWARE. ***** WIN 10 NEEDS SMALLER AMOUNT OF DISK SPACE. I HAVE VIBER, WHATSAPP, SKYPE AND GOOGLE APPS AND 15000 SAMSUNG PREINSTALLED APPLICATIONS.

SPECS ARE SO MISLEADING AND FRAUDLY. INTERNAL CAPACITY 16GB!??? HAHAHA

I CAN HARDLY USE 1 OR IF I DELETE ALL CACHE(S) 2GB!

My condolences. You can throw your mobile in trash. And crew from samsung dont give a f***!!! 

 Oh, there is good news... there are few apps you can actually migrate to sd card - but they are usually arround 154kb.

Next stop.... huawei! or even xiaomi.
