If a soft reboot by turning the phone off and on does not help and you have plenty of onboard storage I'd suggest a Samsung Service Centre.

On top of what @BandOfBrothers has suggested, you may also want to try a hardware test:
Go over to your dial pad and type in *#0*#, this will bring up a number of tests. Select Mega Cam, does your camera work as normal during the test?
