1) OS version: Android 6.0
2) Access type: remotely, broken screen, unlocked via find my mobile service
3) Description of error:

I have broken my phone's screen. I would like to recover the datas from it. I read that it can be managed via the find my mobile service. I logged in into this service and unlocked my phone, but it didn't show any probable actions about backing up and restoring data. I have also installed Samsung smart switch to my pc and connected my phone, fristly it asked me to unlock my device, I made it via the F. M. M. service, but then it asked me to enable USB-File Transfer on my phone. That's what couldn't manage, so i still can't get to my datas, could you help me?

Your sincerely,
Vencel Bajnok

I think backs are made to not be easily accessible remotely so a person does not accidently corrupt it and stop a would be hacker.

If you can get another Samsung phone then you'll be able to download your latest back up into it which is how it's meant to work.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra 256Gb in Phantom Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Hi @Breinich

If you are unable to interact with your screen due to the damage then regretfully it won't be possible to backup your data via Smart Switch. Although it's not ideal you will be required to visit an authorised Samsung Support Centre to arrange the necessary repairs. You can find your nearest one by checking this link, selecting 'Mobile Device' and entering your post code: http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/servicelocation/.
