Forgot unlock patter

I set a finger print and pattern unlock for my S8. I can use my finger print to unlock my device but I cant use my pattern because I forgot it. 

I added pattern for a extra layer of security but is not the primary unlock I use. 

I cannot change the pattern in the settings because it needs me to add my pattern before I can change it. 

How can I by pass this problem?

Take the phone to a mobile phone shop and they can easily bypass the pattern
